As the 2008-2009 Vikings begin their own practice next week, they will also take some time out to do some teaching of their own. On Saturday November 1, 2008 at Northwest High School Coach Manny Bloom and the Varsity players will be putting on a full basketball clinic for the players of the Oak Ridge Youth Recreational League. The clinic will last from 12 - 4 pm and feature on court drills with the varsity players as well as instruction from Coach Bloom and his staff. There will also be a free Coaches Clinic at the end of the day featuring on court demonstrations for offense, defense, and special situations. There will also be a short white board session for those coaches that are interested.
